I'm Eva Shaibani, the founder of Head2Heart, and I believe that every child deserves to grow up understanding themselves - not just academically, but emotionally, physically, and mentally. 

Growing up, I often felt overwhelmed by emotions I didn't understand, why my body reacted these ways, let alone how to cope with it. I carried stress, confusion, and pressure without realizing how deeply it was affecting me - not just in my mind, but in my body, my relationships, and my sense of identity. That experience shaped me. It gave me a perspective I wouldn't have chosen - but one I now use to make change. 
Some people might say, "Kids are too young to feel anxious." OR "They're too young to be stressed or overwhelmed." Or even - "Why should a young person like you be trusted to lead something like this?"

Here's what I say:
Kids are never too young to feel deeply - sometimes more than we realize. They're just often too young to explain it - and too unsupported to be taken seriously.

And as for me?
I am young, but I've lived this. I know what's it like to feel lost inside your own head, even at 9 years old. And I've done the work - both personally and through research, mentorship, and training - to turn my experience into experience into something meaningful. What makes me reliable isn't a title, but a purpose. It's consistency, the drive to create something I never had - and the commitment to keep showing up for every child who needs it. That's why I started Head2Heart: 
To make sure elementary and middle schoolers - especially those in underserved communities get the tools to understand their emotions, take care of their bodies, and speak up with confidence. We teach healthcare in every aspect, because real change doesn't wait. It starts early - and it starts with us. 
This foundation may have started with my story, but it's built for every person who's ever felt understood. And I will keep showing up until every one of them know they matter - from their head to their heart. :)
